About The Stronger Dancer

Where Dancers Learn to be Strong
I created The Stronger Dancer after hitting a breaking point from all the contradicting fitness information within the dance world. "Don't lift any weights," "lift weights but only if it's for your legs," "just do cardio," "your dancing should be enough cardio," "all of the world champions are in the gym," "none of the world champions are in the gym." Despite having my personal trainer and nutritionist certifications as well as a year's experience working with general population clients, I was letting input from the other dancers around me dictate how I was training. I wasn't sticking to a clear plan and I had constant doubts on if I was putting my energy into the right places.
And then I got injured, and finally said enough is enough.
There is no perfect, one seize fits all method for cross training ballroom dancers. Your technical goals, physique goals, competition schedule, and current level will all play a part in how we structure your plan. However, there is plenty of research on the directions that are best to go in. Those directions consist of building real strength and power, growing cardiorespiratory capacity, and phasing everything around your competitions. Once I put this all together everything changed. Let me help you do the same.
